We are a group of individuals bringing the TEAM spirit to the PTA program and we need your help to do that! We have lots of ways you can support the PTA!
Below are a few options that involve very minimal effort and SHOPPING! This is a great option for someone who doesn’t live locally, but still wants to support Christie!
- Kroger Community Rewards – If you shop at Kroger, all you need to do is link your free Kroger Loyalty Card to Kroger Community Rewards. Just like AmazonSmile, if you set Christie Elementary PTA as the designated recipient, Christie Elementary PTA will earn between 3% – 5% of the total amount spent in a transaction. To sign-up, log into your Kroger account through https://www.kroger.com/
account/communityrewards, enter the organization number II028 (two capital I’s and the number 028), and Select the Christie Elementary PTA (Frisco) from the list and click “Save”.
Box Tops for Education – Download the Box Top app to your phone, click “Find a School”, type in “Christie Elementary” and click search, select “Christie Elementary School 10300 Huntington Rd, FRISCO, TX 75035”. No more cutting and turning in little Box Tops! Use the app to scan your receipts to determine if you have any qualifying purchases.
Christie Spirit Wear – We have custom designed apparel available for purchase to showcase our school and support our PTA. We will post on this website and Facebook when the store is available.
Still looking for ways to give back? Or ways your employer can help? Below are a few ways to DONATE:
Provide monetary donations and/or business sponsorships to help us raise funds to provide a t-shirt for every Christie student.
Provide monetary donations for funding toward special programs, special treats for the staff, and Christie community events.
Provide non-monetary donations such as pre-packaged food to stock our school pantry with snacks for students, supplies for our events, food items for staff for special days and staff break room during STAAR testing.
Participate in Spirit Nights at local restaurants. When you order, in person or online, please indicate that the order is to support “Christie Elementary School” so the PTA receives a percentage of the proceeds from your order.
If you are interested in being more hands on, we will have plenty of opportunities for you to serve alongside us! Future events include: Scholastic Book Fairs, Christie Community events, and so much more! If you have any event ideas, please don’t hesitate to send them our way, through contact@christiepta.org.
Be on the lookout for all event postings on our social media, as well as on this website. We are also working on a newsletter that will highlight all things PTA, to send out on a regular cadence, to keep everyone informed.
And please don’t forget to join us at our monthly meetings! We require a minimum of 10 members, plus board members, in attendance, so we can formally vote on agenda items. Please check our Events calendar for future PTA meetings and events.
