Field Day Help
🎉 Field Day is a fun-filled day for all Christie students, teachers, and parents!Â
Field Day gives our students an opportunity to show our community how they build endurance, stamina, and perseverance by reaching moderate to vigorous physical activity on a daily basis. Through multiple activities organized for this special day, students will engage in friendly & fun competitions with familiar activities & skills students developed over the course of the year. In addition, students will demonstrate how they cooperate, take turns, listen to start and stop signals, and respect one another during these activities.Â
2025 Field Day Donations
DONATIONS are essential to the success of Field Day! Please indicate below if you are able to help your children celebrate one of the most looked forward to days of the year.
Items can be dropped off right outside the Main entrance door, on the designated carts.  We will accept items until April 30th. Â

🎉 Volunteers are essential to the success of Field Day! So put on your shorts, sunglasses and a hat and sign up for a time slot below, to help your children celebrate one of the most looked forward to days of the year.
Step Up for Shoes! Christie Shoe Drive & Grade-Level Competition!
March 24 – May 2nd
The grade level competition for our Shoe Drive kicks off Monday, March 24th, and runs through May 2nd!
Why It Matters
This Shoe Drive is more than just a competition—it’s a chance to show kindness by providing shoes to families in need around the world. Plus, it doubles as a fundraiser for Christie!
How It Works
Collection Boxes: Starting Monday, March 24, each grade level (PK–5th) will have a designated box in their pod. Mixed-grade pods will have a box for each grade. Students will bring shoes from home and drop them in their grade’s box.
Extra Collection: A box in the front office is available for non-grade-level donations. Or, if you’d rather heel a specific grade toward victory, feel free to drop your shoes in their box instead!
Prizes
Winning Grade Level: Students earn extra recess + a popsicle party!
Winning Grade’s Staff: Each staff member gets lunch on us—in the form of a$25 UberEats gift card!
